Cathage statue and me

Cathage statue and me

We have arrived, almost a week ago and have been busy sight seeing since the plane landed.  We are now in Tabarka and the day has been quiet as it is Eid al-Adha, a very important Muslim holiday.  We have wifi in our hotel and it works great so we are catching up on email and blogs and everything to do with technology.  The downside to the holiday is everything is closed.  Only one restaurant opened around noon, so it is fasting day for us as well.  On Saturday everything should get back to normal and we are heading to Jendouba to see the famous ruins of Bulla Regia.  The town is a bit of the wild west with only two semi passable hotels.  So we will update you on our trip to Cathage, the Bardo Museum, Bizerte and Tabarka in more detail at the next place we have internet.
