We took the boat along Cambodia’s most interesting waterway, from Siem Reap to Battambong. The boat starts at Tonle Sap lake, just outside of Siem Reap and then passes through canals and waterways on the way to Battambong. With all the flooding in Asia, the waterways were swollen and many of the stilted houses along the channels were under water. The trip can take 6 to 12 hours depending on the water levels. With the high water, we made the trip in 6 hours.
