Gederaf	Wadi Siteet (15sp for the 3 bed room). The manager was very helpful. I had to take the entire room as I am a woman	4
Gonder (Ethiopia)	Belegez 100 bir with private bath 70 with shared bath. The rooms with private bath seemed expensive for the value. the shared were appropriately priced. Great court yard and place to hang clothes and very clean	4
Bahir Dar	Ghion (125bir) The location is amazing. The hotel and the manager are slimy. Others paid 75 bir for the horrid rooms at the back. They lied to me about changing rooms. The tour is ok as you can hook up with other travelers to keep the costs reasonable	3
Shire	Jelly Cafe (25bir) Very clean hotel. A new hotel is in town. The Africa Hotel which is attracting NGO and support personnel for road construction. Rooms are 30 to 100 bir depending on options	3
Aksum	Africa Hotel (60bir) private shower, hot water, very clean	4
Mekele	Seti Hotel (65 single/85 double) not recommended as they had no water, but the food is goodHatsey Yohannes Hotel (80/120 single/double with breakfast). Good dinning room and great location	4

Harar	Ras(75) Clean, nice size rooms, quiet, not bad dining room. Good valule in compatison to the other options	4
San'a	Al-Ikhwa (1500 rial) Bathroom, hot water, tv, Good value in the new city and a nice location near restaurants, internet and Yemico	4.5

Manakha	Alanakha-Askari Tourist Hotel (2500 rial) with breakfast and dinner. Great hotel popular with tours and features nightly dancing and music. The views from the rooms are fantastic	4.5
Hodeida	Darcum Hotel (2500 rial) This hotel is modern and has airconditioning and tv. It is on the main street near the market and next to a popular restaurant	4.25

Zabid	New Zabid Hotel (2000 Rial). This new hotel has airconditioning and TV. It is on the outskirts of the city wall	4
Ta'izz	Taizz Alhajaji Tourist Hotel (2000 Rial). This is a popular business hotel with a balconey, TV and airconditioning. It is on the outskirts of town near bus stations	4

Sana	Al Ikhwa Hotel (1500 Rial). I love this hotel for its value, cleanliness and BBC on TV
Al Makulla	I do not remember where I stayed here. It was a nice hotel near the market and near the bus station	4.5

Say'un	Rayboon Tourist Hotel (1500 rial). This hotel had a tv and the people who managed it were so nice. The rooms are very spacious and clean	4.,25
Aden	City Centre Hotel (3000 rial). This is the best hotel I stayed in. It had a fridge, airconditioning, great views of the surrounding mountains and city and it was close to the central market area. The owner is very kind and helpful	4.5
