There are 1.2 billion humans in India, enough for number two population in the world, and sooner, rather than later will be number one as China’s birthrate is falling in spite or lessening the one child policy. In fact, 47% of the population is under 18 as of the 2011 census. While the politicians rail against each other in every paper and on every page, the “issue” of population growth is nowhere to be found. This is good news if you sell Smart Phones or cheap motorcycles, as it seems everyone under the age of 25 has both. It is not great news for those who suffer from the smog, pollution or the injuries from the chronic traffic accidents. One cannot help but wonder how this will all play out.
