Gerry Bar–Bahir Dar

Chumpa invited me to the hotest night club on Saturday night.  We arrived around 8pm whch was early, but by 9pm people were filling the chrome ad black seats sprinkled through out intimate club. Men ordered beer and women waited for the men to buy them a drink.  The men pretended they were busy talking about important matters while the women paraded back and forth to the bathroom from their corner clatch.  The women were dressed in slinky tops and tight jeans.  Couples  dressed for each other order fancy cocktails which were carefully poured at each table and then ice picked up with tongs was added to the glasses.

The music western and Ethiopian beats became progressively louder as the time became later.  Too bad I left at 10pm.  I never found out if the women got their drinks.
